A great energizing snack you can enjoy any time of day.

Enjoy the last days of summer with these frozen yogurt energy bars! I recently tried the Balanced Energy and I have to say that I'm obsessed with the Roasted Coffee flavour. I usually have a cup of coffee before working out but lately I've been limiting my caffeine consumption, so this product is the perfect substitute.
Enjoy this as a pre or post workout treat. You can even make this into a smoothie by blending all ingredients together with some water.
To kick things up a notch, you can also add in other fruits, or even add in a layer of our Kick-Start Granola for a crunchy texture.

- 2 cups coconut yogurt
- 3 scoops Iron Vegan Balanced Energy - Roasted Coffee
- 1 Tbsp cacao powder
- 1 Tbsp coconut sugar
- 1 tsp maca powder
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 Tbsp cacao nibs
- ¼ cup blueberries
- Add the ingredients to your food processor or to your blender. Process until smooth.
- Using a popsicle mold, add cacao nibs and blueberries into each cavity, then pour the mix overtop. If you don't have a mold, you can use a square 6-inch pan and then cut into bars.
- Place the mold in the freezer for 2 hours.
